The Communications Specialist is the primary contact and accountable person to plan, develop, and oversee client deliverables while meeting client specifications on time, on budget, and at desired margins.
The CORE Competencies for the Communications Specialist are as follows:
- Able to transform technical information into creative messaging that speaks to the intended audience and motivates action while maintaining the technical accuracy of the topic.
- Able to write highly technical client deliverables with a high level of attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Able to define and craft a clear strategy that delivers client results.
Minimum Requirements for the Communications Specialist are:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent in years of experience in a marketing communications role REQUIRED
- MUST be a strong communicator
- MUST be able to take technical information and produce creative writing pieces that are engaging
- 5+ years of account management experience is REQUIRED
- MUST know how to prioritize and have excellent time management skills.
